DESCRIPTION

Garden Street School of the Performing Arts is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our busy performing arts school. This role focuses primarily on our morning programs, including our popular Grown Up & Me classes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment, enjoys working with families and children, and is passionate about supporting the arts and local Hoboken families. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling and customer service (email and in-person) Track attendance and assist with student check-ins Assisting students with borrowing dance shoes Keeping the studio tidy and well-stocked (light cleaning and organizing) Assist with shows, events, and ticket or costume sales/distribution as needed Schedule (In-Person) Saturday: 8:15 AM – 12:30 PM More Potential Weekend hours as needed Compensation: $16/hour, with potential for growth Ideal Candidate: Dependable, organized, and proactive Friendly and comfortable multitasking in a busy, people-facing environment Experience in the performing arts and/or working with children is a plus How to Apply: Please email your resume to dance@gardenstreetmusic.com and include a brief message explaining why this role is a great fit for you.
