As a Armed Security Guard - Government Site in Naples, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, as you interact with employees, visitors, and members of the public. You will be entrusted with upholding the highest standards of customer service while maintaining a strong security-related presence. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Support access control procedures by verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Adhere to all company and client policies while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
