Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations of multi-family properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property conditions, managing resident relations, ensuring financial performance, and coordinating maintenance and leasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
. Leasing processes, including resident screening, lease agreements, and renewals.
. Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution professionally.
. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
. Assist repairs, maintenance, and vendor contracts.
. Collect rent, track expenses, and prepare financial reports for property owners.
. Enforce lease terms and handle evictions if necessary.
. Market vacant units and maintain high occupancy rates.
Qualifications:
. Proven experience as an Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent for 1-5 years.
. Strong knowledge of real estate laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and fair housing laws.
. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
. Ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently.
