We’re a small, independent comedy club and board-game bar looking for a bartender who’s chill, reliable, and takes pride in making the space feel welcoming. If you like places with character, good energy, and creative people, you’ll fit right in.

What we’re about:

• A friendly, community-driven bar hosts board-game nights and other events
• A small team where everyone’s input actually matters
• A relaxed environment that still runs smoothly and professionally

What you’ll do:

• Make and serve drinks quickly and accurately
• Keep the bar clean and organized (cleaning, restocking, closing)
• Help maintain the atmosphere—greet guests, answer questions
• Communicate clearly with the owners and the team
• Follow simple systems/checklists and help improve them as you notice things
• Keep the space tidy without being asked (wipe downs, stock counts, glassware, floors)
• Jump in where needed (light event set-up, resetting tables, basic POS tasks)

Who you are:

• Friendly, mature, and dependable
• Self-directed and proactive—you see a need and handle it
• Calm and steady on busy nights; focused and helpful on slow ones
• Hospitality-minded with an eye for details/aesthetics (you like making things look and run better)
• Comfortable working independently once you know the flow
• Prior bar experience and Food Handler’s preferred (Square/POS experience is a plus)
• Low-drama, good communicator, team-first

Nice to have (not required):

• Handy/fixes-stuff energy (tighten a wobbly table, adjust a shelf, that kind of thing)
• Interest in board games/comedy nights
• Willingness to offer simple ideas when you notice something

Schedule & pay:

• We’re looking to fill 1–2 shifts (Saturday coverage is a priority), with potential for more or occasional coverage later.
• Pay is hourly + tips, based on experience, discussed in person.
• Short paid trial shift for fit.
