We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis fully remote. This role involves collaborating with legal professionals and multidisciplinary teams to provide economic consulting services, ensuring accurate assessment of damages and losses in various cases. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with exceptional communication skills to support both settlement and trial outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed economic analysis to quantify damages or losses in cases of injury, neglect, or wrongdoing.

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to provide expert insights and defensible estimates.

• Draft and review research documents, analyze complex calculations, and summarize findings for client presentations.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, for data manipulation and analysis.

• Engage with clients to deliver clear and effective presentations on findings and recommendations.

• Perform manual and market research to support case preparation and economic assessments.

• Develop and refine business proposals to align with client needs and case objectives.

• Work in an Agile environment to identify gaps and propose actionable solutions.

• Provide expert witness testimony when required, ensuring thorough preparation and precise delivery.

• Proven experience in business analysis with a focus on economic consulting or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with macros and complex formulas.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word for drafting and analyzing documents.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and calculations.
• Excellent communication and client engagement abilities, both written and verbal.
• Experience in market research and document review to support economic analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Background in Agile methodologies and gap analysis is a plus.
