Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and safety-minded CDL Driver with mechanical background/interest to join our team. In this role, you will perform road tests on vehicles repaired in our shop, as well as pick up and deliver vehicles to and from our customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, values safety, and has an interest in mechanics.
Responsibilities
• Perform road tests on repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety.
• Pick up customer vehicles and bring them to our shop for service.
• Deliver repaired vehicles back to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all company policies and comply with state and federal driving laws.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Truck Driver preferred.
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
• Mechanical knowledge or interest in truck/vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with GPS systems, and AVL technology.
• Solid understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel as needed and drive long distances.
