CNC Machine Operator The Trident Company has an immediate opening for a
CNC Machine Operator in the Tulsa, OK facility. The
CNC Machine Operator performs advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill and proficiency in material handling, production processes and multiple machine operation acquired through extended experience and training.

Job Duties and Responsibilities - Positions work pieces for processing.
- Operates a combination of different machines to process work by cutting, burning, sawing, blasting, shearing, punching, grinding, bending or pressing.
- Uses gauges, calipers, squares or rulers for measurement.
- Determines processing specifications such as materials, cutting tools, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances and operational sequences by reviewing blueprints, work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications.
- Installs and aligns specified punches, cutting blades or other fixtures in machine bed using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, or hand tools.
- Adjusts controls to set cutting speed, depth and feed rates; and diagnoses problems and makes necessary adjustments.
- Performs quality control inspections on finished product; for ISO-certified locations, performs In Process Quality Inspections
- Coordinates and executes material handling of all inventories to be processed including operation of overhead crane.
- Performs limited preventative maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning and changing of parts.
- May train less experienced workers and perform as lead in absence of group leader.
- May mark identification on material/work pieces before processing
- May mark material after processing; store material for additional processing and/or shipping
- Restocks material.
- Completes work order paperwork/documentation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reading and writing ability in English (to read instructions on tickets and cross-reference drawings, safety and policies manuals)
- Basic measuring skills to read and convert English and Metric systems
- Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions
- Minimum two (2) years experience as a machine operator
- Experience operating overhead crane preferred
