We’re looking for an experienced Estimator III to join our Bakersfield team! This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, competitive bids and strong project profitability. You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to analyze plans, assess costs, and prepare detailed estimates that drive project success.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full bid process to support project profitability and efficiency.
• Conduct detailed plan reviews and perform comprehensive material and labor takeoffs.
• Prepare precise estimates and proposals that factor in schedule, risk, and construction methods.
• Maintain organized document control and coordinate effectively during the estimation phase.
• Review RFIs, improve cost accuracy, and analyze actuals vs. estimates to enhance future projects.
• Stay informed on market trends, labor rates, and material costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in construction estimation or equivalent background in fabrication, oilfield, DOT pipeline construction, mechanical piping, civil, structural, or refinery projects.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and current market conditions.
• Skills:
• • Proficiency with estimation tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project).
  • Primavera P6 experience a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and review project plans and drawings.
  • Collaborative communicator and adaptable team player.
