As an Early Childhood Education Licensing Specialist, you will impact the supply and quality of child care in our region by sharing your business expertise. You will help licensed child care providers enhance their business practices and help new child care programs navigate the licensing process and get a strong start. You will impact thousands of children as you support child care providers building stronger businesses.

We are looking for talented people with :

• A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or business (or related field), OR a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with knowledge of child development

• At least three (3) years of experience in early childhood education program administration.

• Strong interpersonal skills to clearly communicate detailed processes, compliance standards, and provide constructive feedback to child care programs

• The ability to adapt quickly to changes in state requirements, guidelines, work processes, etc.

• This role will require a current driver’s license, automobile insurance, access to a reliable automobile, and the ability to safely lift and/or transport up to 25 pounds.
