We are seeking passionate and creative Game Designers to join our team at Alter Learning. As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in designing and developing engaging games that revolutionize education. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross functional teams to conceptualize and implement game mechanics, features, and user interfaces. Use research from scientists and lesson plans from educators to influence gameplay and design. Create and maintain design documents. Develop interactive, educationally focused experiences. Conduct playtests and gather feedback to iterate and improve game development. Skills & Requirements Team working experience and strong collaboration abilities. Google workspace (G suite) professional usage knowledge. Ability to create clear Game Design Documentation. Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine. Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Passion for creating innovative and impactful educational experiences. Bonus Skills Previously released games Experience in educational game development. Experience with VR/AR technologies and platforms. Familiarity with the mobile gaming industry.
