This position begins August 18, 2025. Starting salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. An attractive benefits package including medical and retirement contributions provided. Duties And Responsibilities Teach courses in Graphic Design that focus on digital media, including, but not limited to: UI/UX, Web Design, Emerging Media in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, as well as Introduction to Graphic Design. Assess and redevelop existing courses in digital media. Oversee and work with students in the Graphic Design Capstone experience course, taught on a rotating basis with faculty. Work closely with other faculty in developing and recruiting for the Graphic Design program. Meet the university’s requirements for reappointment, tenure, and promotion, including creative scholarship and service. Required Qualifications PhD or equivalent. At least one year full-time college level teaching experience as instructor of record. Extensive working knowledge of UI/UX, Web Design and Emerging Media in Graphic Design. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, Figma, Word Press, Adobe After Effects and Premier. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications History of either exhibition or publication of personal creative/research work. Record of teaching experience at all levels including web design and emerging media.
