About the Role

As a Hotel Room Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. From inspecting guest rooms to supervising staff and maintaining inventory, this position offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities that keep our hotel running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Room Inspections: Inspect all guest rooms daily for cleanliness, condition, and compliance with brand standards.
• Supervision: Oversee staff activities to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Hands-On Assistance: Step in during staff shortages across departments and assist with cleaning guest rooms when needed.
• Inventory Management: Stock linen and guest supplies, keeping storage and laundry areas clean and organized.
• Laundry Duties: Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens while ensuring proper procedures are followed.
• Guest Support: Deliver requested items to guests and ensure lost and found items are properly logged and stored.
• Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel and document them in the maintenance log.
• Training: Assist in training new employees to uphold our high standards.
• Emergency Preparedness: Maintain a thorough understanding of emergency procedures and ensure compliance.
• Team Collaboration: Attend periodic staff meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required, with mileage reimbursed at the current IRS allowable rate.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a variety of responsibilities.
• General knowledge of hotel operations and department functions.
• Dependability: Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends, is required.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed.
