Job Description Job Description Insight Global is seeking 2 HVAC Controls Technicians for a 6-month contract to hire in the Gainesville area. This role involves programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC control systems across large commercial sites. Techs will travel to 1–2 locations per day, with assignments provided the day prior. The clinet aims to keep travel local when possible. For the first 6 months, techs will use their own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at $0.70/mile). Upon conversion, a company vehicle is provided. This is a high-impact role on a growing team, ideal for someone with strong technical chops, great communication, and a commercial-only background. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 1 years of HVAC controls experience Hands-on with DDC and BAS systems (e.g., Metasys, Niagara, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Trane, Carrier) Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical aptitude Proficient with hand tools and electrical testing equipment (e.g., multi-meter Excellent communication skills — personable, clear, and confident Must have commercial-only experience (no residential) Compensation: $28/hr to $32/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
