Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly New Patient Intake Coordinator to join our virtual psychology practice. This role involves answering questions from new patients, explaining our services, discussing treatment costs and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset to provide a positive experience for prospective patients.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from new patients and provide information about our services.
Explain treatment costs and assist patients with questions about EDD benefits.
Schedule appointments and ensure accurate patient information is recorded.
Address general inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Work during set hours to ensure availability for patient inquiries.
Ensure a dependable internet connection to facilitate seamless communication.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with scheduling software.
Reliable internet connection.
Availability to work during designated hours.
