This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you must be able to work in the office for 40 hours per week. We need a paralegal with experience in criminal defense at the state and federal levels. Experience in the military criminal justice system is a plus. Salary range DOE: $42,000 - $54,000 yearly Compensation: $42,000 - $54,000 yearly Responsibilities: We need a paralegal who can hit the ground running, including: Primary , immediately upon taking this position: Manage case administration from start to finish Communicate with clients regarding updates and case status Manage and organize discovery Secondary , as you show your value to the team: Draft and prepare motions and legal documents for filing Assist with trial preparation Research legal topics and issues Qualifications: Do the following statements describe you?
