Role Description

We are looking for a part-time catering team member who can support the bakerys catering operations by assisting with food preparation, delivery, and service. The candidate should have good attention to detail, work well in a fast-paced environment, and be a reliable driver.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete the packaging and plating of orders.
  • Assist with the preparation of catering and event menus.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all deliveries.
  • Assist clients in delivery and setup (if asked) of products in event spaces.
  • Maintain the ability to handle high-volume orders and work at a fast pace.
  • Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Ensure all products meet Dog Tag Bakery standards for appearance and quality.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and clean work environment.
  • Abide by all Health and Safety standards.
  • Be highly responsible, punctual, and reliable.
  • Have access to reliable transportation.
  • Take initiative and work well independently or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Work well under pressure and quickly recognize and resolve problems.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Work Hours, Compensation & Benefits
  • Part-time schedule of 20-30 hours per week with regular shifts starting at 7 am; availability for some evenings and weekends required.
  • Scheduling may change based on catering order demands.
  • Starting wage: $18 per hour (based on experience) plus tips.

Education and Experience
  • 1+ year of experience in the catering or hospitality industry required.
  • Valid Drivers License required.
  • Clean driving record and safe driving practices required.
