The\nSenior Echocardiographic Technician produces diagnostic images using ultrasound\nequipment. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, training\nstaff, maintaining quality control, participating in and facilitating meetings.\nThe role involves rotation, supply monitoring, operating information systems,\naccurate billing, and record maintenance. The technician ensures a clean, safe\nwork area, assists with data collection, and adheres to schedules and patient\ncare standards. This position supports cardiology services within our Santa\nMonica and Westwood campus areas. Rotations within this region are sometimes\nnecessary and required to accommodate staffing needs.

Staff\nEchocardiographic Technician: $51.22 - $67.63 Hourly

Senior\nEchocardiographic Technician: $61.46 - $81.12 Hourly

Salary\nRange: $51.22 to $81.12 Hourly

Qualifications

• Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology\nProgram – required
• Registered with ARDMS-RDCS\n(AE) for Adults or with ARDMS-RDCS (PE) for Pediatrics – required
• BCLS from American Heart\nAssociation or American Red Cross – required
• At least 3 years of\nAdult Echo experience – required for Senior Echo Tech
• Able to take call and\nreport to duty within 60 minutes of request
• Knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy,\nphysiology, and pathophysiology
• Ability to apply theory to practice in the application of\nultrasound technique to the clinical evaluation of the target anatomy
• Ability to push the 500+ lb. echo machine for distances up to\n100 feet within the office
