Job Title: Process Improvement Manufacturing Engineer Working Pattern: Full time Working location: Indianapolis, IN/Full-time Onsite There is a unique opportunity within Indianapolis Operations to join the Central ME Improvement Team. Rather than supporting a single department or component/component family, this role provides Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) improvement support across all Indianapolis manufacturing facilities. The selected candidate will use DMAIC methodology, lean principles, and data driven problem solving to identify enterprise level opportunities and drive measurable improvement. This position offers broad exposure across multiple product lines and the ability to make a significant impact on Indianapolis Operations QCD performance. Why Rolls-Royce? What you will be doing The Process Improvement Manufacturing Engineer will lead data driven improvement initiatives using DMAIC, lean, and structured problem-solving techniques. This role evaluates performance trends across all Indianapolis manufacturing facilities, identifies systemic issues, and deploys sustainable solutions that improve Quality, Cost, and Delivery. The engineer will partner with operations, quality, design engineering, logistics, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement at scale and enable standardized best practices across the enterprise.
