Robotic Process Automation UiPath Administrator
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is becoming a key focus for businesses across the world, with many federal agencies adopting RPA technology in order to modernize and streamline their processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and design robust, scalable, and efficient RPA solutions using UiPath.
- Configure, and deploy automation workflows, bots, and applications leveraging UiPath Studio, and Orchestrator.
- Create custom connectors, workflows, and integrations within the platform to enhance automation capabilities.
- Provide support and guidance setting up our environment and how different pieces of the program interface with each other; e.g., virtual machines, Non-Person Entity (NPE), Active Directory accounts, certificates, UiPath administrator duties
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, and IT teams to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure alignment of automation solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in all security meetings and provide valuable insight as they have both built these programs for other organizations and lean on their lessons learned
- Help refine the RPA Toolkit by assisting with writing documentation/guidance to make the RPA platform robust and efficient and ensure their coding standards are appropriate
- Integrate RPA solutions with various enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., VBScript, Python, JavaScript, C#, VB.NET) to extend the functionality of RPA solutions when required.
- Apply knowledge of AI and cognitive services to enhance automation solutions (e.g., OCR, intelligent document processing).
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of RPA solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Ensure quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes to prevent potential bugs.
- Monitor and maintain automation post-implementation, resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.
- Produce process documentation in order to identify mistakes and successes enabling process refinement going forward.
Required Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, math, or science and 10-15 years of relevant experience.
- The ability to set up, test and monitor automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error.
- Mastery of Automation tools, primarily UiPath suite of tools including UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
- Strong desire to automate processes for web applications, set up automation tool/environment from scratch.
- Exposure to databases, such as SQL and NoSQL.
- Working knowledge of different automation tools and Low code solutions such as Power Automate, Smartsheet, PEGA and Appian besides expertise in UiPath.
