Job Description

The Safety Manager will plan, implement, and supervise the company's safety program and ensure compliance with OSHA and the company philosophy, reducing the frequency of accidents and eliminating injuries.

• Builds relationships with senior leadership, management teams, supervisors, and field personnel to promote and maintain a safe workplace.
• Keep apprised of new regulations and developments in the field of health and safety and recommends changes in the company's program, as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Write site specific Safety plans, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's), LOTO, Fall Protection, etc.
• Support safety meetings at the company's various locations; offices as well as jobsites.
• Schedule and perform jobsite visits and safety audits/observations, with the goal of controlling hazardous working conditions and unsafe practices.
• Investigate accidents and near misses as appropriate. Prepare and maintain required reports and identify countermeasures to prevent reoccurrences.
• Assists with the safety onboarding process.
• Facilitate company in-house safety training. (Hazard Communication, Fall Protection, Lockout/Tagout, etc.)

• Minimum of (3-5) years of experience in field safety, experience in construction and/or industrial safety preferred.
• Degree in occupational safety, or related field of study, from an accredited college or university. -Preferred
• Current OSHA 500 credentials - Preferred
• Current OSHA 510 certification - Preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Understanding of applicable federal, state, local and company safety regulations
