As a Security Officer - Auto Badge Specialist in Ladson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment at an automotive location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting events according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations as required by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or potential concerns.
  • Support a security-related presence at the location, helping to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other disruptive behaviors common in automotive environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
