Overview Capitol Signs Inc. is hiring for a Sign Installation-Lead Installer. Duties include installation and service of signs, which requires commercial construction knowledge, blueprint reading, electrical knowledge, problem solving, foundation work, and experience with medium to large trucks/buckets and CDL. Our ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience and the following skills. Responsibilities Manage Equipment Perform sign installation and servicing tasks Travel across Central Virginia on a daily basis performing various sign-related tasks Operate bucket trucks/cranes and supervise associated activities Foundation work and site preparation Read and interpret blueprints/install drawings Basic electrical knowledge applied to sign installation Operate and maintain equipment (including mini excavators) Ensure jobsite/OSHA safety compliance CDL Class A or B required Maintains neat appearance and physical fitness for job requirements Qualifications High School diploma or GED 3–5 years of construction or sign industry experience (commercial or residential) Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings Experience with bucket trucks, cranes, or related equipment Foundational electrical knowledge OSHA safety knowledge Capitol Signs is a smoke-free business Submit to a Pre-Employment Drug Screen Capitol Signs is located in Central Virginia area Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time position offering top wages, Health Insurance, and paid time off for the right candidate. $2,000 signing bonus, payable after first 6 months of satisfactory employment Salary range is a guide and dependent upon experience level Salary range for this position is posted as $28–$40/hr Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, professional development assistance, uniform service, signing bonus, and relocation assistance if relocating for the position Additional Information Why You\'ll Love Us: We are a small business that works together as a team to accomplish shared goals and treat each other as family.
