Purpose To setup and oversee the setup and operations of assigned Filler Rod lines. This position will report directly to the General Foreman/Shift Foreman. Job Responsibilities

• Inform the Production Team Lead/Shift Foreman of needed parts or tooling on the Filler Rod Lines
• Assist in the training of new employees Coordinate the controlled distribution of salvage operations
• Troubleshoot and set up Special Product Order runs Work directly with Engineering on the startup of new equipment
• Work directly with Engineering on process improvements to improve first pass yield and reduce scrap
• Review, understand, and follow the department procedures, EW Specifications, SSW Specifications, and Plant Rules and Regulations that are associated with the performance of this job
• Obey all safety rules, maintain the cleanliness of the work area, and perform other duties as assigned by the Production Team Lead/Shift Foreman

Job Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and do general math well enough to keep the records associated with this job
• Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job
• Self-motivated, safety, and quality conscious; requiring minimal supervision
• Must be mechanically inclined Knowledge of all operations in the Filler Road department
• Previous experience as a Set-Up person
