A Day in Your New Role:

As a Tax Consultant , you will be supported by a dedicated expert team committed to providing you with comprehensive tax training. You'll enjoy the flexibility and additional earning potential that allows you to embrace your unique lifestyle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting engaging tax interviews with clients via in-person and virtual channels.
• Preparing accurate and complete tax returns.
• Driving business growth and enhancing client retention.
• Delivering IRS support to clients.
• Collaborating with your team to meet office priorities.
• Expanding your tax knowledge and expertise.

What You Bring:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Comfort using virtual tools like video, phone, and chat.
• Effective communication skills in person and in writing.
• Compliance with IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

It Would Be a Plus If You Have:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous customer service or retail experience.
• A record of thriving in supportive and fast-paced environments.
• The ability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, and up to 40 hours during peak times.

Pay Range: $11.00 - $27.00/Hr

This pay range is provided in accordance with local requirements to inform applicants about potential earnings. Pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. Successful candidates may participate in incentive compensation plans for additional earnings.
