A Day in the Life:

As a Tax Consultant at H&R Block, you'll be part of a supportive expert team dedicated to equipping you with the necessary tax training to succeed. Enjoy the freedom and flexibility to balance your life while also having the opportunity to enhance your earnings.

• Conduct in-depth tax interviews with clients through various channels, including face-to-face, video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with diligence and precision.
• Drive business growth by improving client retention and promoting additional products and services.
• Provide essential IRS support to clients.
• Collaborate and support office initiatives to foster a team-oriented environment.
• Enhance your tax knowledge throughout your career journey.

What You'll Bring:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Comfort using various virtual communication tools for client interaction.
• Effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to meet all IRS and state requirements.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience in customer service or retail settings.
• A background working effectively in a supportive, dynamic environment.
• Availability to work between 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with potential for up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

Pay Range Information:
The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $27.00/Hr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions will consider factors like experience, education, skills, performance, and location. Successful candidates may qualify for incentive compensation plans, enabling additional earnings.
