Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring proficiency in PICC/MIDLINE, moderate sedation, and an active NJ or compact license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Interventional Radiology unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
• 40 hours per week over a 13-week contract
• Duties include circulating during IR procedures and performing PICC and MIDLINE insertions
• Moderate sedation required
• EMR system is Epic, experience required
• Experience in teaching and community hospital settings is preferred
• Will consider both local candidates and first-time travelers
• Previous employment at RWJBH health system requires a minimum 1-year gap before eligibility for travel assignments
• Team-oriented environment with support from an experienced IR staff
• Assigned day shift, no weekend coverage required
• Personal protective equipment and appropriate scrubs required during procedures

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum one year of RN experience
• Experience with PICC and MIDLINE insertions required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Procedural experience in OR, CVOR, ICU, CCU, or Cath Lab accepted
