Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children
- Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with special needs or disabilities

Qualifications:
- Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) or enrolled and completed within 2 years, or, AA or BS in Early Childhood Education or related field, with a minimum of 18 credits in ECE or Child Development
- PA Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI Clearances required

-Physical and TB required

Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and educational theories
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience working with children with special needs, including Autism, is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.78 - $16.87 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
