Description:
As a Compressor Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis,
and repair of high-pressure compressors. A strong mechanical aptitude is needed and electrical systems experience is essential. You will work hands-on to inspect, test, service, and rebuild air compressors used in airgun filling and other high-pressure
applications. Provides technical assistance to customers by phone and email.
Essential Duties:
- Diagnose and repair issues in high-pressure Electric air compressors
- Repair all incoming Warranty and Non-Warranty customer repairs
- Perform routine maintenance, rebuilds, and part replacements
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including control boards, wiring, switches, and sensors
- Maintain detailed service logs and customer repair records
- Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Assist in R&D feedback and improvements for compressor designs
- Performs tests to determine advertised performance specifications.
- Inspects returned merchandise (on the QCHK shelf) and takes required action to either return the merchandise to inventory .
Requirements:
- Mechanical repair experience in either auto , HVAC, small engine equipment etc is essential.
- Compressor repair experience is preferred
- Must have diagnostics experience.
- Must have Electrical knowledge
- Operates grinding and sanding machines to grind and polish metal or plastic parts.
- Maintains clean, neat, and orderly conditions in all Tech areas, including the shooting range, pellet making and machine areas.
- Adheres to all safety and security standards.
