Installs wall and ceiling metal studs, drywall framing, lath, backing, insulation, and ceiling systems. Reads layout marks, cuts materials, and assembles framing for drywall and plaster systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install metal studs, tracks, channels, and bracing
Perform layout work for walls, ceilings, soffits
Install lath, backing, insulation, and ceiling grid systems
Stock, cut, and fasten materials
Work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
Collaborate with drywall, plaster, and other trades
