We currently have a role available for an Entry-level Pharma Biochemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and maintaining reagents, buffers, and other laboratory supplies required for assays.
• Assisting in the automation and optimization of bioconjugates stability assays, and linker-payload release methods.
• Supporting and optimizing liquid handling scripts for high throughput conjugation methods and plate-based in vitro assays for a wide range of targets to support research and development.
• Implementing robust in vitro cell-based assays to characterize bioconjugates for functional activity and mechanistic understanding.
• Participating in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to assay performance.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

• BS/MS - Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field with 0-1 year of industry experience (preferably pharma). Experience from internships, academic research, co-ops, etc. will be considered.
• Knowledge of antibody oligonucleotide conjugates (AOCs) and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs).
• Familiarity with automation (Hamilton, Tecan, etc.) and cell culture preferred.
• Hands-on experience LC and LC-MS helpful but not required.
• Preparative experience purifying small molecule organics would also be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Works well both as a team and as an individual.
• Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
