About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Security Architecture to spearhead the strategic design, implementation, and enhancement of its application security posture. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader with a hands-on approach, capable of bridging the gap between deep technical expertise and business-aligned leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and communicating a comprehensive security architecture strategy, defining and enforcing security standards, and leading security architecture reviews across application, data, and cloud environments. Collaboration with IT, DevSecOps, product, and business teams is essential to ensure the integration of security best practices throughout the technology lifecycle. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in cybersecurity or application security engineering, with at least 5 years in a security architecture leadership role. Expertise in application security, DevSecOps, data security, and cloud security is a must, with a deep understanding of secure software development lifecycle, container security, and vulnerability assessment techniques. The role requires proficiency in security frameworks and compliance standards, as well as strong knowledge of network security and the ability to define technical security standards and governance processes. The ideal candidate will also have excellent leadership skills, the ability to motivate and develop a team, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with advanced certifications strongly preferred.
