Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery used in excavation, grading, and site preparation for commercial projects. Safety, efficiency, and precision are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and skid steers.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery.
Follow site plans and grading specifications to ensure accurate excavation.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other crew members.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a commercial and or residential setting.
Knowledge of excavation techniques and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on commercial excavation projects.
