Job Title: Hedge Fund-Experienced Coach for Financial Professionals - Contracted position

• You are a certified Life, Career, and/or Executive Coach with substantial experience working at a hedge fund as either a portfolio manager or a research analyst. Your financial industry experience is a must-have requirement. 
• You are a dedicated and empathetic professional who understands the unique challenges that financial professionals face during their careers. 
• You are passionate about guiding individuals through personal and professional growth, leveraging your coaching expertise and your own financial background, if applicable. 
• Your exceptional communication skills and deep insights into the financial professional's journey enable you to provide tailored guidance and support. 

• Use Arootah’s coaching process and proprietary tools and technology with clients to support them in getting from where they are to where they want to be. 
• Financial Industry and Hedge Fund Experience: A must-have requirement. Proven experience working in the financial industry and specifically at a hedge fund as either a portfolio manager or a research analyst and can speak to the industry and its cultural nuances on topics like goal setting, career growth, etc... 
• Individualized Coaching: Work one-on-one with financial professionals to provide personalized coaching that addresses their specific life, career, and executive development needs. Assist clients in setting and achieving meaningful goals in their financial careers. 
• Executive Coaching: For clients pursuing leadership roles in various financial sectors, provide executive coaching to enhance leadership skills, decision-making abilities, and overall professional performance. 
• Goal Setting and Action Planning: Collaborate with clients to define their short-term and long-term goals, creating actionable plans that facilitate their personal and professional growth. 
• Accountability and Motivation: Support clients in staying accountable to their objectives, providing motivation, encouragement, and guidance throughout their financial journeys. 
• Tracking: Maintain and share detailed and accurate records of coaching results (challenges, breakthroughs, etc.) 

• Life, Career, or Executive Coaching Certification: Possess a recognized coaching certification, preferably from an International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited organization, demonstrating a commitment to ethical coaching practices and professional standards. 
• Minimum 5+ Years of Coaching: Have a track record of at least 5 years of experience in coaching clients, with a focus on life, career, and/or executive coaching. Provide testimonials/examples of successful client outcomes. 
• Empathy and Cultural Sensitivity: Exhibit a high level of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. 
• Excellent Communication: Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas and facilitate meaningful conversations. 
• Strong Listening Skills: Demonstrate active listening skills to fully understand clients' needs and tailor coaching approaches accordingly. 

Preferred Skills & Experience:  

• ICF Credential: Holding a current ICF credential, such as an ACC, PCC, or MCC. 
• Assessment experience and certifications: Hogan, DiSC and/or EQ-i

The hourly coaching rate of pay is expected to be for Coaching Engagements a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $500 per hour. 

Actual compensation will be determined by several factors including skills, specialization, accreditation, and years of experience.
