PRODUCTION PACKERS Location: Paragould, Arkansas
Shift: Multiple shifts available (details provided during interview) Pay: $15.00 HR
Position Type: Full-Time About the Role Seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packers to join their production team in Paragould. Packers play a key role in quality control, packaging, and preparing finished products for shipment. Responsibilities - Conduct visual quality inspections of products and report deficiencies before packaged.
- Package product according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), work instructions, specifications, and quality docket.
- Place the product that meets specifications in the box or gaylord.
- Stack, palletize, wrap, and label products for shipment
- Maintain housekeeping of the packing station and related areas.
- Follow all plant safety rules, guidelines, and PPE requirement.
- Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines
- Communicate any product issues or defects to supervisors
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
Qualifications - No prior experience required - training is provided
- Ability to learn quickly and maintain knowledge from the core training program.
- Accurately count by twos up to 100.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to make quick decisions on product quality and communicate issues effectively up the chain of command.
- Ability to lift up-to 25-40 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Must be able to maintain speed on all production/packaging lines and perform essential duties and responsibilities
