Staff Today is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a SMH Allied Sterile Processing Tech - Evenings to work at a Facility in Rochester, NY. These are registry positions with our company.

This is a travel position located in Rochester, NY and they need to be over 50+ miles away to qualify for this role.

Gross Wages $602.00
Traveler Lodging $434.00
Travel M&I $189.00
Total Travel Stipend $623.00
Total Travel Pkg $1,225.00
Blended Rate $30.63

Duties:

 

• Clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect instruments for damage or wear.
• Assemble and package instrument trays according to surgical needs.
• Operate sterilization equipment (steam, low-temp, etc.).
• Monitor sterilizer cycles and maintain accurate documentation.
• Restock and organize sterile storage areas.
• Deliver sterile trays and supplies to surgical and clinical areas.
• Follow strict infection-control and safety protocols.
• Track and manage instrument inventory and missing items.
• Communicate effectively with OR staff regarding needs or shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the department.

Qualifications:\n\nMinimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech\n\nA valid and current license issued by the state of NY\n\nA valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)\n\nProficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
