Mental unwellness is an increasing common illness on the rise where statistics has revealed it affects approximately I in 5 Australians each year.

Undergoing a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course will equip oneself with knowledge and skills to support / assist a friend, family member, office colleague or and promote the skill awareness to outreach to one’s community and or communities around.

In this MHFA course, you will be taught to recognise mental unwellness signs, its symptoms arising or on going in the affected person.

How one can provide the initial assistance, resource to obtain professional support for the person because an early intervention has shown to be effective to assist the person undergoing it through the practical , scientifically based action plan written and structured under the Mental Health First Aid course.

The MHFA skills acquired by course participants is applicable to any case setting.

The course includes face to face teaching, case studies, video presentations and resources that caters to communities including CALD communities.

The objectives and purposes of the course

The course has been recognised by providing more participants with improved knowledge of mental unwellness, the treatment resources and proven first aid strategies to assist individuals with mental unwellness.
