This unit (Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation – HLTAID009 ) describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
On successful completion of this course, the applicant will receive a Statement of Attainment of Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation – HLTAID009
Face to Face: 6 hours (minimum) delivery, full face to face course with the additional one hour self-paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course.
